Barbecue Ban Due to Persistent Drought
Due to the current drought and high risk of wildfires, a strict ban on grilling and open fires is in effect in our region. This applies to all public barbecue areas, portable grills, and any open flames in the forest and nearby forested areas.
What does this mean for your visit?
- Grilling is currently not permitted, including at designated barbecue sites.
- Smoking in the forest is strictly prohibited from March 1 to October 31.
- Open fires are forbidden in the forest and within 100 m of forested areas.
- Please be especially mindful of potential sources of sparks and report any smoke or fire immediately by calling 112.
